Aggressive species of fish soon to reach the Great Lakes
A massive barrier is recommended to be put up in the Great Lakes to stop the aggressive fish from moving in. The Asian Carp’s mating and eating habits will have a serious negative effect on the lakes. The barrier should be placed between the lakes and the Mississippi River watersheds. The barrier is a long term solution, and one that will keep out other species that will negatively effect the ecosystem. There has been a similar type of barrier 60 kilometers from Lake Michigan, but some fish have managed to get through.
Vegetation will not be disturbed in the process of creating the barrier, it will stay the same as long as these carp do not move in.
