Not so great for commuters into the city

City bus drivers, Hamilton Streetcar Railway (HSR) mechanics and support staff voted 94 per cent in favour of a strike Sunday night.

Which doesn't sit well with communiters whom rely on the HSR to get to work, not to mention students whom travel a distance to get to school.

The talks fell apart on Jan 24, when the Amalgamated Transit Union, Local 107 and city are scheduled to come to the table with a mediator.

Hopefully an agreement can be met, A.T.U has been opperating for some time now without a contract, which they should with the city of Hamilton.

If a fair deal can't be met a strike will be on.

A Message from A.T.U - Local 107 President.

They have set up a Website to address the concerns citizens have of the HSR going on strike you can view it here

Our Question is how will this strike effect you? Leave your comments below with your concerns
