Tanning bed ban for under 18 year olds
The Canadian Pediatric Society is trying to ban anyone under 18 from using tanning beds. The beds pose a serious cancer risk. Tanning salons have long since established relationships with the younger clientele. 25 percent of kids aged 13-19 have used a tanning bed. Nova Scotia and southern Vancouver have already had the beds banned. Many different organizations agree with the ban, including the Canadian Medical Association, and U.S medical groups. Manitoba MP is trying to get the federal bill to agree to the banning, for the second time
