Perry, Eh? - The American Cowboy Will Dismount his Steed

image Rick Perry, the current governor of Texas, came into the race with many supporters. His decline began after his "Third Cabinet" blunder

Maybe that Third Cabinet convinced him to drop out

Richie tried. He really did.

It seemed like he was sincere with what he was saying. He seemed like an honest man who wouldn't go back on his word. He also seemed like a very nice guy.

But all that aside, Perry made way too many mistakes that really destroyed his presidential chances. Such Youtube videos as these really put a bad impression on the man.

He acts like a truly stereotypical Southerner: Strong religious beliefs, not in favour of gays, anti-muslim: the whole "The American Way or the Highway!" mentality. The Internet community really did not like his style. In fact, such popular sites as memebase have painted him as this "Republican's are evil" figure.

However, it seems like most of the people who make their voices heard (through voting or commenting) are more Liberal than Conservative. This is why it always seems suprising when a Republican or Consverative candidate wins their countries elections: their voters stay quiet and don't dictate their opinions to everyone.

Perry, however, has probably become disheartened enough by all then negative publicity he's gotten on the Internet and has stepped down. This means that there are only 4 remaining candidates: Mitt Romney, Newt Gringrich, Ron Paul, and Rick Santorum.

Perry has given his support the Gringrich because he believes he is a "Visionary that can transform this country". However, according to the official 2012 Republican Candidates website, both of their voted delegates don't even reach Santorum's total, which, so far, is only a third of Romney's.

Well, who do you think will become the next Republican candidate? Leave a comment!
